Mission
At lilmatters, our mission is to help children discover the joy and wonder of growing their own food. We create simple, fun, and hands-on experiences that teach kids how tiny seeds turn into living plants.
We want every child to feel comfortable touching soil, planting seeds, watering them, and watching them grow, learning patience, care, and curiosity along the way.
Through playful learning and easy guidance, we help children understand where their food comes from and why nature is so important. Whether it’s a small pot, a balcony, or a little garden, we show them that they can grow something of their own, anywhere.
Our goal is to raise a generation of children who feel connected to the Earth, who respect it, and who grow up with the confidence that they can nurture life with their own hands.
Because when kids learn to grow food, they don’t just grow plants… they grow love, responsibility, and a deeper connection to the world around them.
A Letter to You
Dear Friends ,
Woof! I have a little dream to share with you…
Deep in my puppy heart, I believe everyone dreams of becoming a farmer at least once. There’s something truly magical about growing your own food, feeling the soil, and watching life bloom, it’s pure joy, like chasing butterflies in a sunny field!
But I know… life gets busy. With fast-paced days, little time, and not much guidance from our education system, many of you haven’t had the chance to explore farming. Even when you try, those tiny seeds can feel confusing, “How much water? Where do I plant? Am I doing it right?”
Let me tell you a little secret…
I never dreamed of starting something big. I just wanted to be a simple, happy farmer pup. But as I listened to the heartbreaking stories of farmers struggling, I realized something important, a farmer today needs both a kind heart and awareness of the changing world.
And that’s how lilmatters was born
My dream?
That every child in India, by the age of 15, knows how to grow food, even in small spaces, even with simple tools. That they understand the magic of soil, seeds, and sunshine… and feel proud of it.
By being part of lilmatters, you’re helping little humans discover something beautiful, that being a farmer isn’t just a profession… it’s the most important, noble, and lovable role of all.
To all the amazing parents out there, I gently nudge you (like a puppy asking for a walk):
Join this movement. Give your children the gift of understanding nature. It may just be the greatest gift for them… and for our planet.
